Unlocking the phone with your face
This
is not the same as iris scanning, which is a biometric tool you can use
for mobile payments (you can't use face unlock for this)
It's fast and it worked in my demo, even in indoor lighting
You have to hold the phone level with your eyes; you can't unlock by looking down into the phone
I couldn't trick it with a life-size color photo of my face

Golden Eaglets retain their crown: Nigeria became only the second side to retain the FIFA U-17 World Cup with a 2-0 win against Mali in Vina Del Mar. Victor Osimhen stole the show once again thanks to his record-breaking tenth goal of the tournament, with Funsho Bamgboye adding a second moments later. Ebere saw his low effort saved brilliantly by Diarra, the No17's follow up header hit the bar before a third bite of the cherry was blocked by the Malian defence. Both sides had chances in a tense opening period, with Golden Eaglets skipper Kelechi Nwakali hitting just wide and Boubacar Traore seeing his glancing header tipped over by Akpan Udoh. The second half saw the game burst into life, with Emmanuel Amuneke's...
In response to the latest price rate reduction by Taxify, Uber announced a 40% reduction in Lagos rates effective from Thursday 4th May 2017. This means you can travel for business or explore your city for less than ever before. In a statement released, the management said, “We want to make sure that Uber is an affordable way to move around your city, so we’re dropping rates in Lagos by 40% from Thursday 4th May 2017. Therefore you can now request a high-quality ride for the same price as small chops!” Whether you’re running a quick errand, visiting friends or commuting to work, Uber has got you covered for less. In addition to this, the management stated that decreasing the fares should get more people requesting more rides with Uber, which leads to drivers spending more time with paying riders and standing a chance to earn the same or more. We aren’t asking drivers to just take our word for it, we are providing temporary earning guarantees until it is clear that this will be t...
The crisis rocking the newly registered Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (ADPA) took a new turn on Tuesday, as the executive committees of its rival factions announced the sack of one another. Loyalists to the Raymond Dokpesi-led Board of Trustees met in Abuja and sacked the Shittu Muhammad-led Interim National Working Committee of the party. Similarly, the Shittu-led NWC also announced at a seperate meeting that Dokpesi and his loyalists have been sacked from the party. The Dokpesi-led stakeholders insisted that the tenures of the NWC members had expired since June 14 this year in line with the constitution of the Party, adding that the meeting complied with the Party’s Constitution as well as provisions of the Electoral Act as amended.
