A Kenyan athlete Abraham Kiptum has emerged as this year's Access Bannk Lagos City Marathon race. The #LagosMarathon is a yearly event that Lagos hosts in conjunction with many private organizations. This year was spearheaded by Access Bank PLC with others like 7up, Aquafina water among others. We bring to you some pictures from the marathon that happens in Lagos. The winner of the marathon is a Kenyan athlete Abraham Kiptum. He was declared as this year’s overall winner for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon!

In a turn up for the books, Ilya Pam Mwanta is the first Nigerian to cross the line, beating Sharubutu who was last year’s winner. Below are some of the glitz and glamour...

The Governor of Borno State, Hon Kashim Shettima gave a house to an internally displaced lactating mother. The house, located at Bolori area of Maiduguri was handed over to her yesterday. The Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura, has sought for partnership between the state and China in the areas of agriculture, solid minerals development and real estate. This was one of the issues at the front burner when the governor in company of some executive members visited the Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, Zhou Pingjiang at the Chinese embassy in Abuja.
